Meet your Therapist - Clare

Welcome and thank you for visiting my website.

I set up Clare Arnold Therapies in South Queensferry in 2017 in order to follow my passion for Natural Complementary Therapies and to work more flexibly around childcare for my wee boy. I have a specialist interest in Reflexology for couples trying to conceive, during pregnancy and postnatal and Facial Reflexology.

I have over 25 years experience as a General and Paediatric Nurse and Health Visitor. I enjoy working with people of all ages and stages of life. I believe a holistic approach to health and well-being can help you to maintain a positive frame of mind and help you cope with life's difficulties. Complementary Therapies can assist you through difficult times and maintain your health and well-being when all is going well. It is also an excellent way of ageing well without medical intervention and cosmetic surgery (zonefacelift),

I first tried Reiki after I experienced a very traumatic bereavement, it helped me to get through the depths of grief and become whole and happy again, along with the support of my GP, friends and family, yoga and running.

I have since used Complementary Therapies, especially Reflexology, to maintain my well - being, help me through conception and pregnancy,  to relax and unwind from a stressful work environment or to simply enjoy a treat and time to myself. As a lady over 40 I am also loving the self care techniques I can share with you to help reduce tension held in the face and soften fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

I love being able to help others feel relaxed and re-energised. I initially trained in Complementary Therapies to satisfy my curiosity and to see if it would help friends and family. When I realised they all loved it and reported back it's benefits, it gave me confidence to practice on other people and eventually set up in business.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions about the treatments I offer or if you are curious about having a treatment.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
